07/21/08 -

Just to let everyone know, we aren't playing many gigs at the moment.  This is because we're pretty much holed up in the studio cranking out HEAVY tunes for our next album.  Anyways, thanks for stopping by and expect some great tunage when the album's finished.

Fanu's new album is coming out soon.  If you know who he is, you should be excited.  He's the ULTIMATE drum god.  We are also on his album in a collab song "The New Law and Fanu - Showdown in Juanita pt. 3".  Part 1 and 2 will be on our next album later this year ;)

Check it out here in his myspace blog:

Also, we're playing a show at "High Noon" this Sunday, June 29, in Tacoma at the Urban Art Festival.  We'll have a few new tricks up our sleeve for this show.  Should be fun in the sun :)   The website and info for that show is here:

Thanks everyone for coming out to our show at the Thought Cpot on Saturday.  We had a great time rocking it.  Photos will be available soon. Hope to see you all at the Urban Arts Festival on June 29th!

06/05/08 -

If you are in Tacoma this weekend, we have a show at the Thought Cpot gallery on Saturday at midnight.  Hit us up if you are interested and need directions.  Also, we made a flickr account with a bunch of our pics.  We'll be updating it here and there with old and new photos.  It's at http://flickr.com/people/thenewlaw.  Woooooord up. We've also been updating the studio with a new super fast computer and some more delicious gear.  So, the album has been put on halt the past few weeks to get it all up to date.  Yet, we're getting back on it now :)

A little promo/review of us in Weekly Volcano

Check it out here:

http://www.%20weeklyvolcano.%20com/2008-05-01/music-main/2129/

Here's the bit on us:

"Meanwhile, I am ashamed to say I have slept on The New Law. The Seattle duo comprises Adam Straney, aka Senator Adam, and Justin Neff, aka Justice, who defy description as they stir up the nastiest hybrid soundscapes I've heard in a distant minute. Call it trip-hop if you need to, but I heard one song that sounds like the unholy sonic offspring of Gibby Haines, Andrew Eldritch, Herby Hancock and Ventian Snares' Aaron Funk. Seriously. Tracks like "Deconstructed Funk" and "Bad Weather Beach" are downright spooky. Six thumbs up for a beautiful balance of dirt and space."

03/23/08 - We have some new shows booked.  Check our "Tour" page for the schedule.  We're also working on our second album and it's sounding EPIC.  Check our myspace page at www.myspace.com/thenewlaw for our "Sneak Peak" song of what's on our album.

Peace out and bottoms up :)
